“My name is Sherri Lewis, I am the granddaughter of the late Frances Wright of Solomon. My Inupiaq name is Kamouyuk. I enjoy subsistence activities, taking walks, long summer rides in the country and spending time with family. After living in Golovin for 30+ years, I moved to Nome a little over 3 years ago. I have always had a passion for tribal government and am excited to be working in this field once again. “
Sherri Lewis has experience in tribal government affairs, Indian child welfare act and native corporation business. Her expertise will assist the Tribal Council in maintaining and enhancing all programs, projects and services to full capacity for Village of Solomon community. Sherri is enrolled with the Village of Solomon; as well as her daughter Wilma and her grandchildren Thomas and Katherine Menadelook.
